Pastor David Gordon and Wife Karen

Our great God and Savior has given me the grace to pastor this wonderful faith family for over 26 years. Karen and I have been blessed with a blissful marriage for 41 years. We have two wonderful grown children and 5 amazing grandchildren.

My passion and purpose for my life and our faith family is:

Love God (Matt. 22:37 & 38)

Love People (Matt. 22:39)

Make Disciples (Matt. 28:18-20)

I want to personally invite you to worship and serve our Lord alongside of each other.

Candace (Candy) Harper joined our staff as a temporary Ministry Assistant in March, 2014, and became permanent in September.  She came after more than 34 years serving the North American Mission Board (formerly, Home Mission Board) of the Southern Baptist Convention in Atlanta.  She had also served in three Southern Baptist Churches as the Financial Secretary, Youth & Education Secretary and receptionist. Candy added the duties of the Treasurer of Hahira First Baptist  in 2019 and remains active in many areas of our church. 

Candy's experience and love of people make her uniquely suited for her position.
